Introduction

We have two product lines for genomic kits.  They are Real Biotechnology Corporation (RBC) and Omega Bio-Tek (Omega).  We position RBC products as the "Professional Line" and Omega as the "Value Line" products.  Both companies products work as well and in some cases better than Qiagen's.  We price Omega at 25% to 40% below Qiagen and RBC at 10% to 35% below Qiagen.  We provide samples for all kits and introductory BOGO offers (Buy One Get One Free).  We also provide competitive pricing on our website that is very accurate.

Omega Bio-Tek

Using the spin-column format, Omega's EaZy Nucleic Acid (E.Z.N.A.®) system takes advantage of the HiBind® silica membrane and allows for the purification and recovery of DNA and RNA from tissues, cultured cells, gels, and solutions. The need for organic extractions, alcohol precipitations, and dialysis steps are obviated. The spin-column format also eliminates the resin carry-over and DNA fragmentation that are common to the silica gels and slurries. Conditions for optimal cell lysis and nucleic acid binding have been optimized for different samples allowing development of specific protocols for each application. Omega's diverse products products range from RNA purification from plants to DNA extraction from dried blood spots.

RBC

For quality versus price/prep worldwide RBC Real Genomics leads the way in nucleic acid purification.  HiYield mini-prep spin kits yields are consistently higher than leading competitors. There is no compromise on purity. Protocols are available for almost all sample types. For a concise product overview click here

RBC Genomics kits incorporate three major technologies; popular Silica Spin Kits for fast mini-Prep, Ion Exchange Columns for larger yields and higher purity yields and 96-Well Plates for high throughput applications (Silica/UF Membranes). Cell lysis buffer is provided for individualized protocols and batch processing. Each lot is QC tested to ensure low variability batch to batch.

All common DNA/RNA extractions are represented. Kits are provided for small, medium and high throughput applications. Many protocols are completed within 20 minutes.

QC Report: Real Biotech Labs

  • RBC Real Genomics Kits are equivalent or superior to market leader Brand Q in YIELD.

  • RBC Real Genomics Kits are equivalent to market leader Brand Q in PURITY.

  • RBC Real Genomics Kits show very low VARIATION lot-to-lot.

Increased Yield

Results below derived from actual tests in Real Biotech Corp. Labs. Each batch undergoes rigorous quality control. Actual results may vary according to sample.
