The 1 kb Ready to Use DNA Ladder includes 9 fragments ranging from 0.5-10.0 kilobases (KB). It is a mixture of several plasmids digested to completion with appropriate restriction enzymes. The intensity of the 3.0kb band has been increased to yield an internal reference indicator. All other bands appear with equal intensity except the band at 0.5kb.

Load 6 ul of 1kb Ready to Use DNA Ladder per well.

Storage Buffer : 10mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0. 1mM EDTA, 1x loading buffer (5% Glycerol, 0.02% bromophenol blue, 0.02% xylene cyanol).


Concentration : 41 ng/ul


Storage : -20^°C


Quality Control : Agarose gel analysis shows that the bands between 0.5kb and 10 kb are accurate in size and distinguishable. The 3kb band is at least 3 times more intense than any other bands. Incubation of 6ml of the DNA KB-Ladder in restriction enzyme buffer overnight at 37^°C shows absence of visible degradation.
