Application Scientist (AS), Part Time
UBI is distributing Nucleic Acid Systems. An AS is responsible for:
- Becoming familiar with the kits.
- Helping colleagues use the kits at their institution.
- Taking orders.
- Making delivery of products.
This is 10-20 hours per month. The ideal person will use the kits on a day to day basis in the lab that they are working in.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Biology or M.Sc. in Molecular Biology.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Experience
- Familiar with competitive kits from Qiagen, Invitrogen, etc.
- Problem analysis and troubleshooting experience.
- Bench scientist experience.
Travel
- Possibility but not currently.
